First Steps in the Platform

This walkthrough starts after you have a valid DATAMIMIC descriptor. For the model itself, use the Core tutorial.

1. Sign in and open Projects.
2. Create an empty project, import a project archive, connect a Git project, or clone a demo from the Demo Store.
3. Open the project. The project navigation provides Editor, Schedules, Task, ML-Gen, Workbench, and Settings.
4. In the Editor, select a model in the file tree. Use the advanced editor for XML and the other editor modes for their matching project-file types.
5. Select Generate to start a run. Use Generate - Advanced Settings only when the run needs non-default execution settings.
6. Open Task to follow status. From a completed task you can inspect logs, previews, and downloadable artifacts.
